If you want a very very good dentist who has the care of her patients at centre of her dental practice, The York Dental Suite & Mafalda Queiroz is the dentist for you.I have been absolutely terrified of dentists for all of my life until I switched dentists 5 years ago and started seeing Mafalda. She has a very calm, warm & friendly persona which immediately puts you at ease. She clearly explains what she is doing & what treatment you may need, & during treatment she regularly checks you are okay. I am genuinely no longer frightened at all of going to the dentist.I was delighted when she opened her own practice. It is easy to get to with parking right outside the door - a rarity in York. The practice feels calm the minute you enter the door & this carries through with the welcoming informative reception staff.I also see Meghan the hygienist, who again makes you feel relaxed first & her approach isn't a rush around my mouth, but identifying what requires attention and focusing on that, as well as ensuring I understand what I can do to improve my dental hygiene.I leave The York Dental Suite feeling that my dentist & hygienist genuinely want to give me the best dental care, and that's a good feeling isn't it!

My daughter and I visited the dental suite yesterday and everything about our experience was exceptional.Prior to our appointment I spoke with some of the front of house staff and also Dr Mafalda Queiroz on the phone and they were all so incredibly helpful.Yesterday Dr Mafalda Queiroz built up my daughter’s peg teeth with composite bonding and the final result was fabulous. The colour match and shape of them is perfect. I have nothing but praise to give to everyone in the York Dental Suite. Every member of staff is superb at what they do and I feel so comfortable and relaxed when I go for any kind of treatment. They are all extremely thorough and have what seems to me as the most modern dental equipment possible which leaves no stone unturned in making sure they spot issues before they become a problem. Of course it would be nice if it was cheaper but I’m a great believer in you get what you pay for and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to family and friends.

Excellent all round experience from the minute i walk through the door until I leave, and it didn't stop there. The reception staff's proactive follow up service in confirming bookings and answering my queries were swift and efficient. Most importantly the dental work was off the highest standard. Having been without a dentist since prior to lockdown I was intrepid about a vist. My worries were immediately put at easy by Mafalda Queiroz. Her warm friendly welcome was followed up by a clear explanation of how the practice operates. On completion of the initial consultation she clearly identified the dental issues I had and gave me several options on the way forward. I am now close to completion of the work I chose to have done and I can say without hesitation that it has been carried out swiftly with my care and consideration at the forefront. I have recently joined the practice and could not recommend it enough. From booking it has been a remarkable experience. The dentist is lovely, caring and great with nervous patients and took the time to listen to me and understand me. The fillings were painless and comfortable. Excellent experience as a new patient. I took my 15month old for their first check up and Mafalda and the staff were calm, patient, friendly and made my toddler feel at ease and very comfortable and gave great advise as a new parents to look after my toddlers teeth. I’ve had such an amazing experience at The York Dental Suite! I went to Dr Meghan Rossuck wanting to achieve a look that other dentists had previously said was unachievable. Never thought I'd see the day I was coming out of a dentist and leaving a 5* review.Phoned earlier in the week for an emergency appointment and got in this afternoon with Dr Meghan Russock. Amazing! I'm a really nervous patient and wasn't registered at the time of my visit, but I had nothing to worry about. Although I was in the chair for 1.5 hours as apposed to the 35 minutes allocated (my mouth just wouldn't numb) Meghan did everything she could to reassure me, she was calming, supportive and actually made me laugh! Mifalda and her team are wonderful. The practice is beautiful and feels professional and sophisticated as soon as you enter. Mifalda is so gentle and kind. I have the worlds most sensitive teeth and she is very understanding and patient. She reassures you throughout any treatment and encourages you to get in touch if you’re are unsure if anything. The whole team from the receptionists to the dental nurses are so caring and professional. I travel a long way to see them all because it’s worth it. I was referred to this practice from another practice, as my problems were described as 'complex'. I saw Dr Stephen Taylor who was extremely friendly and professional, took a lot of time to listen to me and to examine my teeth. He came up with a plan to solve the issues I was having with a very painful crown and several other teeth as a consequence - it was difficult to eat anything. 5 months on after his excellent treatment, I have no pain at all and can eat normally. I am more than delighted with the results and would recommend Stephen and this practice wholeheartedly.

I’ve been to York Dental Suit for the first time in December on an emergency appointment after a little accident I had with my tooth.Dr.Mafalda straight away took me in as soon as I arrived and fixed my tooth perfectly in minutes after examining it. I came to the York Dental Suite for a full set of composite bonding and I cannot fault the process from start to finish. Tracie was so welcoming and helped me make a decision on what I wanted before I had the treatment done with Dr Meghan, who has done a fantastic job of giving me lovely teeth. The staff were so genuine, warm and friendly that the experience was so personable. They went out of their way to build such a good rapport with me and not only that, but they were so fantastic with my 3 year old who I brought to some of the appointments. They really went above and beyond to keep her entertained (huge, huge thank you to Rachel and Irina!) which shows how much they genuinely care for their patients. The team were extremely professional and not once in the 4.5hrs I was sat in the chair did they ever have a conversation over the top of me that wasn’t to do with teeth or without me involved which highlights their level of professionalism. They were informative and patient with me throughout which massively put me at ease and relaxed during the process. Highly recommend anyone opting to have treatment done here. I wouldn’t hesitate to come here again for any treatment as I know they will make sure I am accommodated. Lastly, a massive thank you to the lovely Charlotte who was an absolute gem! You were absolutely fab and I really appreciate your kindness towards me and my little girl when visiting the practice. Thank you!

It's got to be said that my visit to The York Dental Suite was an absolute pleasure today and that's not what one normally hears about a visit to the dentist is it? The entire team were so very friendly, kind and professional, explaining clearly every step along the way. I already knew Dr Mafalda Queiroz from another practice in York from years ago and decided to look her up and I'm utterly delighted I have done so and wish I'd done it earlier. She is a consummate professional, always putting in extra effort to make one feel relaxed and she offers options without any pressure to have treatment.Her new dental suite is beautiful and she has chosen such a great team of staff to compliment her professional and friendly practice, suffice to say I highly recommend her.

Front of house staff, Rachael, Jemma and Charlotte are excellent, highly efficient, extremely patient and kind. Michaela is proving to be a supportive dental nurse on my Angel Aligner journey. Finally, Abbie is the best hygienist I have ever encountered - She really knows her stuff and is very helpful.

Had Invisalign and the process has been so easy with Mafalda with support all the way though whenever needed with great results. Then booked in for composite bonding with Megan who was fantastic and I’m very happy with the end product! All staff were very friendly and helpful- Charlotte and Gemma on reception as well as others. Would definitely recommend this practice, service could not have been any better!
