What are wrinkle correction injections?
Wrinkle correction injections use an injectable form of botulinum toxin. This is applied directly to the targeted areas of your choice, where it will freeze the muscles, effectively stopping them from making repeated movements and actions that cause fine lines and wrinkles to appear.
Where can wrinkle correction be applied?
Wrinkle correction injections can be applied to most areas of the face and neck, but some of the most popular areas to target and treat include:
- Crow’s feet
- Worry lines
- Smile lines
- Smoker’s lines
- Bunny lines
- Down-turned mouth
- Eyebrow lift
- Necklines
Will the treatment be painful?
We’ll make sure you’re comfortable throughout the treatment by first numbing the area being treated. As with any injectable treatment, you might experience some bruising or tenderness at the site for up to a day after, but this should disappear on its own.
How long does the treatment take?
Wrinkle correction can be applied in just one 20–30-minute appointment.
How long do the results last?
Results usually last for about four months. With regular treatments, you can leave longer between appointments as the skin adapts to the botulinum toxin with repeated application.
When will I see results?
Patients normally notice the results within a week of their treatment.
